The Jonathan Thurston Academy is an organization run by the man himself who influences and inspires young individuals to engage in seeking employment, helping with their career goals and supporting each individual’s wellbeing by providing remarkable opportunities. The JT program empowers young individuals, allowing them to grow and learn new skills, knowledge and aspects of their careers, which motivates them as youth to take these opportunities as an advantage for a better future.  As the JT Academy continues to draw in more individuals, leading those in the right pathway, Abrik was given the opportunity to also help young determined youth in seeking employment as plumbing apprentices and an administration personal. Not only is the JT Academy a powerful program for the youth in education and wellbeing but through the program, young individuals were able to find themselves as part of the Abrik team.  Abrik is a professional plumbing company, but we also take in and support disadvantaged youth through apprenticeships giving an opportunity for them to help provide services for the community. We provide an organization where although we come from diverse backgrounds, we consider everyone as family. With the support of the JT Academy Program, it was the perfect time to involve these young individuals in our company and for them to help us grow our organization.
